What to expect depending on the season
In the garden of the verdant farm, numerous cultivation techniques are being tested with the aim of promoting biodiversity and the production of vegetables and fruits on soil that is not tilled except when necessary, all within a space of approximately 1000m².
In particular, we practice permaculture, agroecology, forest gardening, electroculture, vegetable gardening, raised beds, vertical gardening, companion planting, a bioclimatic greenhouse incorporating vermicomposting, and a self-contained aquaponics system. A dry toilet system allows for the reuse of urine as garden fertilizer and the filtration of greywater to feed a biodiversity pond.
Throughout the year, we allow some of our plants to complete their life cycle in order to harvest their valuable seeds, while allowing others to reseed themselves naturally.
Note
To protect the biodiversity and tranquility of the site, we intentionally limit the number of simultaneous visitors to a maximum of 7 people. This also encourages interaction during the visit.
